As you may already be aware, No.4 took part in a really lovely (& quite fun) photo shoot recently. We asked some fantastic local wedding suppliers to join us as we got No.4 all dressed up and ready for the wonderful West 70 Photography to take some pictures. You can read all about that in our last blog post here.
As the stylists for the day, we wanted to ask Elizabeth Weddings just how and why she put this look together. Read on to see what she had to say and maybe even pick up a few tips for yourself.
‘The design and styling of the photo shoot that I wanted to create is based on the beautiful red and gold ornate wallpaper and contrasting colours of the white in the room and the black of the fireplace. I wanted to create a fun, but classy look to suit the interior at No4.’
‘I wanted the flowers to add that sharp bright colour of red and pinks, which was toned down a bit by some whites. Contrasting black and white was introduced in the handmade table runner and stationery. The table was then finished with gold speckled tea lights.’
‘The beautiful jam jar flowers were provided by Lisa Elliott Floral Design these were perfect for the long tables at no4. These were also dotted around on the windowsills and bar area to add some extra colour and to tie in with the theme.’
‘No4 has lovely pew chairs and I thought what better way to decorate it than to arrange a lovely floral display in it. It’s really great to make the most of what’s already there.
Sometimes you forget about decorating the outdoor space… I strung white paper lanterns with ribbons in the trees and decorated the stairs with flowers that Lisa had provided.’
No.4 looked fabulous and we loved the creativity from Elizabeth Weddings, especially the flowers in the back of our pew chairs!
