MEET THE CHEF

Head Chef Sam Ashmole has transformed the restaurant at No.4 Clifton Village since joining us only two years ago. Specialising in elevated comfort food, Sam is particularly adept at taking British staples and tranforming them into modern classics, such as her take on a Ham, Egg & Chips – pulled ham hock on a nest of potato rosti, crowned with a herb crusted egg yolk croquette with pineapple gel.

A true Bristol local, Head Chef Sam trained at the City of Bristol College and has since worked as a chef in the city for over 12 years, honing her craft and developing her signature style. Sam sees Tasting Menus at No.4 Clifton Village as a chance to experiment and be creative, pushing boundaries to create special and memorable experiences for guests.
